Antoinette Suiter has installed [telephonePiece] as part of her residency in Uss Gallery’s Astra 5 Satellite Space.
The [telephonePiece] installation contains a Raspberry Pi running a phone tree application. The application uses Uss Gallery’s telephone landline. Special thanks to Amanda Yamasaki for coding assistance.
[telephonePiece] can be accessed by calling 1 (312) 273-5769 from anywhere in the world, free of charge, from any app or device with a touchtone. This includes WhatsApp, and Facebook Messenger– to list two.
